The Canadian Animal Health Coalition works collaboratively with stakeholders to identify issues of concern and uses a project based approach to find solutions.

Projects are managed by the CAHC through an internal structure of a Project Manager,
a Project Coordinator, and a Financial Manager. All projects are audited as part of the organizational audit and individually as may be required in the project agreement.

Funding for projects is from industry and government
. Government funds are primarily through programs of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency but may include other government sources if applicable. In addition to cash contributions, industry and federal and provincial governments make in-kind contributions to projects undertaken by the CAHC.
