EMCOMM Communication Network

The EMCOMM Communication Network is an activity within the Emergency Management Communications Project funded by the Advancing Agriculture and Agri-Food Program of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and by industry participants.

The network website includes an on-line discussion forum for those charged with responsibility for emergency management for Canadian animal agriculture.  As it develops it will also be a resource centre and a rapid notification mechanism for emergency management communicators and coordinators in the Canadian animal agriculture.  The network includes industry and federal and provincial government emergency management staff, recognizing the shared responsibility in preparing, preventing, responding and recovering to an emergency.

This project uses the restricted access area for posting of some materials and also for the discussion forum.  The discussion forum is managed in English only.
